Ariel Curtis, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a joint injection specialist at Joint Health Solutions, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. With over 12 years of nursing experience—including six years as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the AANP, Ariel is dedicated to providing safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.
She began her career as an orthopedic trauma nurse at a Level 1 trauma hospital in Macon, Georgia, which laid a strong foundation in orthopedic care and allowed her to witness firsthand how limited mobility affects a patient’s quality of life.
Later, after becoming an advanced practice nurse, she joined a large family practice treating chronic and acute conditions alike. During this time, it became exceedingly apparent that there were a lack of readily available, affordable and effective treatment options for patients suffering from chronic joint pain commonly related to osteoarthritis. Ariel believes that people of all ages deserve to comfortably live the active and fulfilling lifestyles they desire.
Known for her personable bedside manner, listening ear, and individualized approach to treatment, Ariel is passionate about delivering effective care that meets each patient’s unique needs. She believes in building lasting relationships through open communication, education, and trust.
Outside of the clinic, Ariel stays current with the latest clinical practices to ensure her patients receive the best care possible. She also enjoys attending a book club, studying the Spanish language, traveling, crafting, and spending time with her adopted fur babies, Duke, Milo, and Benny.
